SRO Program Assessment
The Justice and Safety Center, working with ABT and Associates, conducted an evaluation of five school resource officer programs in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. These five small programs were visited on three separate occasions to determine the types of SRO program models that have been implemented, who had been involved in developing the models and determining the goals, what SRO activities have been planned and actually implemented under the various models, and what lessons can be of benefit to policymakers and practitioners.
